Rebridge works inside the Lightspeed Retail R-Series account you already run. There is nothing to export, nothing to import, and no spreadsheet in the middle. You connect your store, and vendor documents start becoming complete purchase orders.
What changes on day one
Connecting takes about thirty seconds. You log into Lightspeed, approve the connection, and Rebridge pulls your catalog. There are no templates to build, no vendor mappings to configure, and no fields to match up. The work that used to happen between a vendor document arriving and a purchase order existing simply stops being manual.
From that point on, you drop in an invoice, order confirmation, or prebook and review what Rebridge proposes. Nothing reaches your POS until you approve it.
Your catalog, understood rather than copied
Rebridge pulls every item, matrix, variant, category, brand, and price from your store. That is not just a backup: it is how the system learns your naming conventions, your color codes, your size systems, and how your categories are actually organized.
The practical result is that when a vendor ships a new colorway of a style you already carry, it gets added to the matrix you already built instead of becoming a duplicate product. That single behavior is the difference between a catalog that stays clean and one that fills with orphaned SKUs.
Purchase orders that land correctly
Approved orders are written straight into Lightspeed. Existing products get their reorder quantities. Genuinely new products are created with the right descriptions, categories, attributes, manufacturer SKUs, and pricing, formatted to match what is already in your store.
Multi-location stores can route orders to specific shops. Everything arrives looking like you entered it by hand, because it follows the conventions Rebridge learned from your catalog.
What you stay in control of
Every purchase order passes through a review step. You see each line, what Rebridge intends to do with it, and why. You can change quantities, fix a match, reclassify an item, or reject it outright. Nothing is written to Lightspeed until you approve.
You can disconnect at any time, from Rebridge or from Lightspeed directly, and access is revoked immediately. How we store and isolate your data is covered on the security page.
How the connection works
For the technically inclined: Rebridge uses Lightspeed's official REST API with OAuth 2.0. We never see or store your Lightspeed password. Catalog syncs use cursor-based pagination so they work at any catalog size, and every request passes through a token-bucket rate limiter that respects your account's limits, so a large sync never interferes with the till.
