# Rebridge

> AI-powered purchase order automation for independent retailers. Rebridge reads any vendor document (invoices, order confirmations, and seasonal prebooks), matches every line against your live catalog, and builds a complete purchase order in your point-of-sale system. It does the merchandising judgment, not just the transcription: decoding vendor style numbers, extending the product variant groups you already carry instead of creating duplicates, and creating genuinely new products in your store's own conventions. Rebridge works with Lightspeed Retail R-Series today. Support for Shopify POS, Square, Clover, Vend and Toast is planned.

## What Rebridge does
- Reads any vendor document in any layout, with no per-vendor templates: invoices, order confirmations, and seasonal prebooks, as PDF, Image, CSV, or Excel.
- Decomposes vendor style numbers into their components (style root, season, colorway, size) and reasons about each, so it matches correctly even when the vendor's format does not line up with your catalog.
- Matches each line item against the live Lightspeed catalog by manufacturer SKU, UPC, product name, color code, and size.
- Extends existing product matrices: when a vendor ships a new colorway of a style you already carry, Rebridge adds it as new variants on that family rather than creating a duplicate standalone product.
- Creates genuinely new products that conform to the store's existing naming conventions, attribute usage, category structure, and size systems.
- Handles forward-dated order confirmations and prebooks, which land in Lightspeed as future-dated POs so the commitment is visible without distorting today's on-hand inventory.
- Aligns size-grid quantities using the actual text coordinates in the document, so an 18-column grid maps to the right size columns deterministically rather than by inference.
- Routes every purchase order through a human-review queue before pushing it to Lightspeed.
- Built for Lightspeed Retail R-Series today; other POS platforms are on the roadmap.

- POS support: Lightspeed Retail R-Series (Shopify POS, Square, Clover, Vend and Toast planned, not yet supported). Lightspeed X-Series, Lightspeed E-Series, Lightspeed Restaurant are not supported.
- Document types: vendor invoices, order confirmations, and seasonal prebooks. All three produce a Lightspeed purchase order through the same workflow.
